DON Aluminum Bozunabe

Bozunabe has round bottom. As used with otoshibuta(*), convection effect occurs inside, and heat naturally spreads to the ingredients. So, bozunabe is often used for cooking burnable items.
"Bozu" means buddhist monk. They have religional rule to shave their own heads. Namely, the name of "Bozunabe" came from shaved round heads of monks.

Notes on using and purchasing

A size of about 15 to 21 cm is easy to use at home.
The inside may turns to black or brown after using. This is a kind of oxide film and it is not unhealthy. As you boil water in which rice is washed before use, it is an effective to prevent discoloration.
As bozunabe has round bottom, it is poor in stability. Please be careful enough for burn in use.
